Dr. Jennifer Trew is a Licensed Psychologist specializing in the treatment of stress, anxiety, and mood difficulties in adults. She has training and expertise in assessing and treating depression, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, agoraphobia, health anxiety, OCD, specific phobias, and body focused repetitive behaviours.

Dr. Trew primarily uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — both evidence-based approaches widely considered to be the most effective psychotherapies for anxiety and depression. Her approach is active, collaborative, goal-oriented, and client-centered.

She works with her clients to develop a strategic, personalized treatment plan that will help them achieve their goals and make meaningful changes in their lives. Dr. Trew is committed to maintaining best-practice standards and flexibly combines evidence-based treatment strategies to meet each client's individual needs.

Dr. Trew is an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in the area of social anxiety. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from UBC and completed her pre-doctoral residency at St. Joseph's Healthcare in Hamilton, Ontario, receiving specialized training in mood and anxiety disorders.
